핑크 플로이드의 벽은 1982년에 영국에서 제작된 뮤지컬 형식의 영화입니다. 감독은 앨런 파커 Alan Parker이고 밥 젤도프 Bob Geldof, 크리스틴 하그리브즈 Christine Hargreaves가 주연입니다.
핑크 플로이드의 벽에 사용된 음악은 영국 프로그레시브 록 밴드 핑크 플로이드가 1979년에 발매한 11집 앨범 수록곡들인데, 노래에 연극적인 요소를 추가해 뮤지컬로 만들어졌다가 1982년에 영화로 제작됐습니다.
핑크는 전쟁에서 아버지가 죽고, 학교에서 선생들에게 획일적인 교육을 받고, 어머니가 과잉보호를 해서 자립심을 잃어버리고, 결혼 후에는 아니에게 버림받습니다. 이런 일들로 인해 핑크는 세상에 벽을 쌓게 됩니다.
Another Brick In The Wall 파트 1, 2, 3까지 뮤직비디오가 나와있는데 파트 1, 2에서는 똑 같은 가면을 쓰고 획일적인 교육을 받던 학생들이 학교를 때려부수는 상상을 하는 내용이 나옵니다.
